The years children spend at Saint Mark’s are the most formative of their lives. We must do everything we can during these primary years to ensure that our students go on to middle school, high school, college, and their professional careers with the thirst for knowledge, foundational skills, and self-confidence to succeed.

- Jennifer Tolbert, Head of School

Giving to Saint Mark’s

Saint Mark’s is grateful for the support of our community each year through philanthropic giving. Together, we can accomplish so much for our students and our school.

There are three main ways we ask our community to support Saint Mark’s: the Saint Mark’s Annual Fund, the Spring Event, and special initiatives, such as a campaign for capital projects or endowment funds.

Saint Mark’s Annual Fund

The Annual Fund is the school’s most important fundraising initiative each year. It is a critical revenue stream in our operating budget and ensures we can sustain our programs and meet emerging needs. Like tuition, donations to the Annual Fund are used during the current school year. Annual Fund gifts are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

The impact of the Annual Fund is evident across campus. It helps fund the Teacher Intern program, technology upgrades, faculty professional development, and tuition assistance. Like every independent school, Saint Mark’s relies on the generosity of our community to meet our Annual Fund goal every year.

We are proud of the strong commitment of the Saint Mark’s community to the Annual Fund. For nearly a decade, 100% of families, faculty and staff, and the Board of Trustees have participated in the Annual Fund. We are grateful for the many grandparents, relatives, alumni, and friends who also contribute.

As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the school can be eligible to receive corporate matching gifts. Please check with your employer about available opportunities to direct funds to Saint Mark’s.
